The date sheet is out months before the exams and keeps getting updated. It is best to wait till mid-May when the actual Final datesheet is released. Though no harm in getting a tentative idea.

The trend is that the exams for CFT:
first year are scheduled back to back with no holiday in-between.
second year: the elective exam is normally a week after the exams for MCFT006 and 007 - which have a couple of days in between.
No. You can choose an exam center anywhere in India. You may not get the chosen center, but one which is reasonably close to the pincode of your chosen center.
No. There is no correlation between submission of practicals and exams - both are independent. You only need to submit assignments before exams. Practicals may or may not be submitted before exams - your choice.
If the option is showing, it is advisable to pay the fee to avoid hassles at a later date.
No, the fee is applicable only for the respective session. You have to appear in the exams and submit the files in the same session.
